Headrest screen/second screen

 Joying android head unit cannot support video out directly.

For head unit without DVD player, you need to buy a digital media player and RCA cable to input and output. Here is the link of digital media player:

There are 2 solutions to out video to second screen.

1. You can connect U disc with the multimedia box, then connect the AV cable with the second monitor, it will output the video or audio to the second monitor.
2. You can connect the AV cable with the head unit, then use another AV cable to connect the head unit with the second monitor, then the video or audio can play on the head unit and second monitor at the same time.

For head unit with DVD player, you need to use connect the head unit with RCA cable, then you can watch the video on the second screen.

Black screen

Would you kindly help us confirm the following situations?

• 1. No sound, buttons lights off, black screen
• 2. No sound, buttons lights on, black screen
• 3. Have sound and buttons lights on, black screen

• How to check button lights?
• 1. Please connect power to head unit, and check the button lights if stay on or not. 
• 2. If the button lights off when you start , please find “ILL” wire (orange+white), and connect it to “ACC” wire (red).

• How to check the sound?
• 1. please put some music to USB/SD card without any folder, then connect to head unit(only for the situation you set the machine to “allowed to play music  automatically when USB/SD inserted”).
• 2. If your head unit has “Band” button, please long press this button.
• 3. If your head unit has DVD/CD slot, you can test sound through playing music CD.

HOW TO SET STEERING WHEEL CONTROL ON JOYING HEAD UNIT?

Could you find your factory steering wheel wire?

If don't know which one is your origianl steering wheel control, pls check this video about how to find out the steering wheel wire by Multimeter (usually the voltage is 5V):

After finding out the Steering wheel wire:

If there are 2 steering wheel wires, then pls connect it to our key1 and key2 wire, GND wire must be connected like below picture shows.

If there are only 1 steering wheel wire in your car, then pls connect it to Key1 or key 2, GND wire must be connected.
